Cathy spent most of her life in Burns Lake with Larry, raising their family and working at many places around town, where she formed many friendships. Anyone who knew Cathy knew she was passionate about her family and always had a story to tell about her kids or grandkids. She also loved baseball, playing slo-pitch for many years and then turning her love of the game to following the Blue Jays any chance she got. She even got a chance to watch a couple Blue Jays games on a trip to Phoenix in 2016.
Cathy was caring and compassionate and many people in the community benefited from her kindness and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon in Cathy's name.
A private service has been held for her family.
