CHARLES (Chuck) SALLENBACK

August 2, 2005

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always on our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God call us one by one, THE CHAIN will link again.

Chuck was unexpectedly taken to be with the Lord on August 2, 2005. He loved to hunt, fish and have coffee with the boys. He spent many years working in road construction and maintenance, including Road Foreman on the Southside of Francois Lake. Chuck took pride in every job he took part in and was complimented many times on the extra care and effort he gave to every project he set out to accomplish.

He is survived by his wife Muriel of 47 years, his children, Rick (Dori), Mike, Karen (Ken), Dave (Debbie), Darwin (Sylvia), Marnie (Jack) and Jeannie (Keith). Chuck has also left behind a legacy in grandchildren: Troy and Chad, Angela and Allison, Amanda, Jessica, Kevin and Micheala, Matthew, Elizabeth and Hannah, Ashley, Calvin and Michael. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren Andreena and Ethan.

Dad you will live in our hearts forever never to be forgotten. This is not goodbye only farewell until we meet again on the other side of heaven.
