David James Fountain

August 14, 1954 - December 13, 2019
David was born on Aug. 14th 1954 and passed away on Dec. 13th, 2019 peacefully, with his wife Brenda at his side. David died from complications after surgery to repair his aorta.
He is preceded in death by: Father William (Bill) Fountain, Mother Constance Fountain and his two Sisters Joanne DeChamplain and Pamela Jones.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Fountain (Piper), Step-mother Mavis Fountain, and brother Mike Fountain.
Nieces: Jennifer (Victor) Juorio and Tania (Joel) Schiller Nephews: David Nicholson-Jones, Michael Fountain, Tyler Fountain, Rhett (Jen) Fountain, and Angus Fountain Brother in-laws: Lewis Jones and Guy DeChamplain. David was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important; the simplicity of living a life with those he loved. His acute awareness of the importance of his loved ones, be it his wife, his family or his many friends, was only handicapped by his attachment to his boat! David's outgoing personality, fun loving nature and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
Celebration of Life to be held at Beaver Point Resort in Burns Lake on July 4th, 2020 @ 1 pm. Brenda will be at the resort from July 3 - July 6 if you wish to drop in for a visit.
