Edward Sholander aged 91, passed away peacefully on Monday November 12, 2018 at the Pines in Burns Lake, BC.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jeannette Sholander; his children, Jerry Sholander (Shelly), Denise Stewart (Glen), Darwin Chatterson (Valerie), Bradley Chatterson, Denise Mckinley (Dean), Kelly Chatterson (Lori); his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Ed studied education and writing at Canadian University College in Alberta and at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. He worked as a psychiatric aid at Riverview hospital in Vancouver until moving back to Francois Lake with his family in 1974. Ed worked as a custodian at Lakes District Secondary and made many friends and connections with people. He retired in 1994.

Ed will always be remembered for his love of music and the outdoors. Ed's gentleness, intelligence and humour will be forever missed.

Please join Ed's family in remembering and celebrating his life on November 23rd, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Francois Lake Hall. There will be coffee, tea and snacks to follow.
