Eric Saugstad passed away on March 26, after a short battle with cancer. Mercifully, he died quickly and peacefully. Eric was born on October 24, 1927. He was the son of Alf and Ellen Saugstad. Eric is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Linda, his children Tia, Karen, Cliff, Edward, Glenn, Allan, Don, and his children by marriage Wayne, Pamela, and Chrissy, as well as many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son David.
Eric, who owned and operated Pacific Rim Realty, was an active member of the Burns Lake community for the last 17 years. He was a gentle, caring man who was loved by many. He spent much of his time helping those in need in the community. He was a very gratefully involved member in A.A. for the last 35 years.
There will be a memorial service at First Mennonite Church, 530 Kerr Rd. (behind Lino's), on Saturday, April 3rd, at 11:00 a.m.
