Born in Stuttgart Germany, Fritz died peacefully in the Burns Lake Hospital. In 1952 he decided to move to Canada with some friends. He worked in Saskatoon at a garage as a mechanic. Through a friend he got a job in Kemano as a maintenance mechanic. 1 year later Edith arrived in Vancouver, they got married and up to Kemano. They lived there until 1961. Work was not good around Vancouver so they moved to San Jose, California, lived with friends who owned a Shell station where he got work as a mechanic and lived there for 17 years. In 1966 they came to Francois Lake where they found a property they loved and every 2 years they would come from California to Francois Lake where they built there dream house. In 1978 they returned back where they lived until his passing. He was married close to 58 years, he loved hunting, fishing, and sailing. He made lots of good friends and neighbours, everybody will miss him so much. He will be in our mind and hearts forever. He is in good hands. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses who made him very comfortable.
