George Edward Miller passed away July 3, 2013 at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, from cancer.
George was born near Kennedy, Saskatchewan, in 1936. The Miller family moved to North Vancouver in the 1950's and George worked in the local mills.
In the late 1970's George moved his family to Burns Lake where he worked at the Babine Mill for a number of years as a millwright.
George's love of horses and dogs was well-known and his happiest times were spent in their company.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sisters-and brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
No service will be held at George's request. Instead the family will have a celebration of life in his honour at a later date.
