It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Jessie at the Burns Lake Hospital after an extended illness, with loving family by her side.
Jessie lived the greater part of her life caring and providing for her family through hard work, selfless dedication to others, and enjoying time with family and friends. She gave many hours of her time and entrepreneurial spirit to the legion, Ladies Auxiliary, AVON customers , and too many other jobs and businesses to name. Her comforting and welcoming presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jessie is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, Thomas; sons Deral (Mary), Mark (Chris); daughter Tara (Steve); sisters Betty Bell, Joyce (Vic) Stuckey, Lillian (Bill) Kirtley; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Mary Zeigler; sister Lois Klemm.
The family thanks the home support care workers, her Carroll Cottage neighbors and the dedicated staff at the Burns Lake Hospital for their care over Jessies final days. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Burns Lake Hospital, Box 812, Burns Lake B.C, VoJ 1Eo.
