‘Jack’ Phair,
of Burns Lake, British Columbia; formerly of Waterloo and Lindsay, Ontario; son of Hugh Raymond Phair and Priscilla Yost; born 14 December 1926 in St. Clements, Ontario; died 9 July 2006 in Burns Lake, BC.
Survived by: his beloved wife Edna (nee Wittke), and children John, Jim, Jo-Anne (and Vaughan), and Doug (and Cindy); grandchildren Sally, Jesse, Brittany, Lee, Aaron, Kameron and Robyn; sister Agnes and brother Laverne; brothers- and sisters-in-law Albert and Myrtle, Myrtle, Norman, Millie, Dorothy and Don, Gordon and Ann, and Marilyn; many nieces and nephews; and chosen family members Patty, Anita and Frances.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters Eldon, Dolores, Wanda, Ruth, Orval and Shirley; and by grandson Wesley.
Jack’s life was celebrated on Friday 14 July, at St. Paul’s United Church, Burns Lake.
His ashes will be interred at a later date in Telkwa, BC.
In lieu of flowers, Jack asked that donations be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Burns Lake Hospital.
Jack will be lovingly remembered by his family and many, many friends.
