Kathy was born to parents Alex and Marjorie Morrison on February 24, 1958 in Toronto, Ontario. She is the 10th child of 12. Kathy had a lot of wonderful childhood memories mostly at her beloved cottage on the Talbot River.

At 17 Kathy married the love or her life Doug Waters. After she gave her heart to the Lord they moved away from their old life to the North. After 4 children and 8 years, they decided to move south of Burns Lake where she had her last child and lived out 35 years.

Kathy was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her life and lived every day with joy. Along side her husband, they built up a thriving business which has enabled them to live comfortably for a lot of years. This of course did not stop her from risking time and finances to try new things. The last great accomplishment has been pioneering alongside her husband, son and nephews to begin a new business and help set them on a course for success. This was a great joy for her, she loved to see people thrive and prosper and would reach out and help in anyway possible when felt lead to do so. She was always encouraging her children to try reaching further and higher and was the greatest of cheerleaders. Her relationship with God was deep and secure. She knew how to draw on Jesus for strength and wisdom and knew what her future would be once she passed from this life. She lived in this world but was not unaware of the great life that awaited her after. And now that she has passed on we can say with great confidence that she is with Jesus in heaven and also with her predeceased siblings, parents and her eldest son, Eddie and wife Nadine, and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Doug Waters, daughter Shirley (Brian), son Ron (Heather), Daughter Jenny (Jeff), son Paul (Jheneane), son Joshua and also 14 grandchildren.
