It is with great sadness that we announce that Kenneth (Ken) Jeppesen, 78, of Southbank, BC, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 at the Lakes District Hospital and Health Centre in Burns Lake, BC.

Ken was born in London, Ontario to Knud and Else Jeppesen on February 5th, 1940. His family moved to BC in 1952. He married Betty on May 18th, 1990 in Prince George, BC. He worked as a truck driver and equipment operator for different companies until his retirement. In 1996, he and Betty moved to Southbank, BC where he spent the rest of his years in a place that gave him great joy.

Ken is preceded in death by his mother Else Jeppesen, his father Knud Jeppesen, his step-mother Dorothy Jeppesen, his brother Paul Jeppesen, and his sister Anna Houser.

Ken is survived by his wife, Betty, his children Debra Jeppesen, Bonnie Willson (Roland), Dale Jeppesen (Jeannette), Kate Shipmaker (Monty), Kris Orto, Clayton Orto, his brothers Bob Jeppesen (Eunice) and Pat Jeppesen (Elaine), his grandchildren Lorne Jeppesen (Lysa), Carole Jeppesen, Robyn Willson, Dustyn Willson, Matthew Shipmaker, Evan Shipmaker, Charlize Orto, and his great-grandchildren Kimberley Jeppesen and Jason Jeppesen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The Jeppesen family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Norman, Health Centre staff, and friends and neighbours for all the help and support that was extended to Betty in this extremely difficult time.

In accordance with Ken's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society in Ken's name would be appreciated.
