It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kerri after a long struggle with cancer.
Kerri was born and raised in Prince George. It was here that she teamed up with lifelong friends Miranda, Janet and Liz.
She married in 1981 and had two sons, Christopher and Michael.
She moved to Burns Lake where she met Terry Halpin. They enjoyed over 20 years of incredible companionship.
Kerri loved to travel. She and Terry took many trips to places around the world including many to tropical beaches. She was particularly fond of sand and water.
Kerri worked at The Pines as a care aide for many years. She loved her job and did it with care and compassion.
She was a hockey mom who hated hockey and never did learn any of the rules.
Nevertheless, she was at the rink to see her sons play every chance she got.
Kerri was predeceased by her mother, June. She is survived by her husband Terry, sons Christopher and Michael (Kaitlyn), stepsons Graig Halpin (Andrea) and Shawn Halpin (Kristine), father, Adrian (Pete) Peters, sisters, Dara (Keith), Shelley (Bill), brothers, Gary (Eunice), Brendon, Scott (Jackie), nieces, Alison, Kimberly, Lani, Jennifer and Lacey, nephews, Joshua, Jeff, Shane, Chad, Ryan, Ritchie, Blaine and Stephan, her shared grandchildren (with Shelley) Julia, Cody and Jaden.
Kerri will be greatly missed by all who were touched by her love, generosity, caring and friendship.
She is now in the arms of the angels.
