September 27, 2020
On September 27th, 2020 Margaret Alice Wiebe was called home to her Lord and Savior after a long and brave battle with cancer. Through all the difficult days her faith kept her hopeful of the life eternal that awaited her.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, grateful great grandmother, loving daughter & sister and dear friend to many.
Her love of flowers and the beauty of nature surrounding her brought joy to her heart and it was a labour of love.
She also was a skilled seamstress making clothes for her family and for those who sought her out. Looking out of her living room window over the lake and ferry landing provided a view that she never tired of.
Through the years she made an impact on those around her and was quick to lend a helping hand to those in need. Whether it was at church, work or to her neighbours she dedicated her time and energy fully to help where she could.
She established her place in the business world as an accountant, buyer, manager and owner. In her later years she worked at the Burns Lake doctor's office where she made many lifelong connections that would later offer her comfort when she fell into their care for which she was deeply grateful to be surrounded by familiar faces as well as family and friends.
She took great comfort from all the flowers, phone calls and especially the visits both at home and in the hospital.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
She will be missed.....until we meet again!
