Oct 10, 1943 - Mar 23, 2018
Bob was born in Burns Lake, BC to George and Joyce Minger.

It was in high school that Bob met the girl of his dreams, Rachel. They courted for 4 years and in July of 1967 they were married. Four years later they welcomed their first daughter, Kimberly. Three years later, a second daughter, Carmen joined them and Bob's life was complete. Bob worked hard and with heart for everything he did.

Whatever his girls needed, Bob was there.

Not only was Bob tremendously devoted to his family, he gave over 60 years of service to his community as a volunteer firefighter, volunteer ambulance attendant, coach and referee for minor hockey. He served two terms as Village Councillor and was a committee member for the Bulkley Valley Credit Union. Bob was a dedicated volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society and he proudly wore his "Daffy Bob" daffodil costume supporting their campaigns.

Bob was a humble man; he was always the first to step up when someone was in need and the last one to ever seek recognition for it.

Bob leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Rachel, his daughters Kimberly and Carmen and grandchildren Miranda and Brendan. Sisters Madeline, Edna, Beverly, Joyce (Earl) and Marjorie (Jim), Brother-in-law John (Bev) Sister-in-law Denise, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
