Shelley Hanson was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us on May 3, 2014 at the age of 39.
She leaves behind her best friend and love of 26 years, Brian, her parents, Bea and Ernie, her siblings Ernie, Laura, David, Mark, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Shelley was a beautiful woman with an unbreakable spirit and sense of determination who always remained positive and optimistic. She was everything to everyone and anyone lucky enough to be around her felt the effect of her presence. More than anything, she enjoyed spending her time camping with Brian, their dogs, and their family and friends. She was also notorious for tearing up the race track as the Bride of Chucky or high marking at the top of the mountains.
She loved with her entire heart and gave with everything she had. She was a hero in a pink hoodie and was cherished by everyone around her.
She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. We love you Shelley, race on.
A celebration of life will be held this coming August.
