Violet Benson passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Abbotsford at age 94 years. She is survived by her five sons, Harold (Marilyn) of Kamloops, Pat (Anne) of Kamloops, Dave (Rita) of Burns Lake, Howard (Louise) of Abbotsford, and Bruce (Genevieve) of Quebec; one daughter Marilyn (Jack) Oliarny of Smithers; 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Violet was predeceased by her husband Oliver Frederick Benson in 1967.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Hatzic Cemetery, Mission, BC. Special note of thanks to the management and staff of MSA Manor.
