A public audit is needed at Comfor to clear things up

Re: Comfor

Going forward, what ever that phrase really means, it would be good if those who speak on behalf of the company would communicate clearly to the community, a) what is going on, b) how the community is benefitting from the community forest and c) how the community will benefit in the future.

With that in mind and maintaining the original mandate to be operating independently, (at arms length) to the village council and a fiscal transparency in which the community can understand the company's financial position, there would be far less misunderstanding criticism.

The board of directors is there for the benefit of the community not their own financial gain or "brownie points."

It would seems to me, a public audit would clear up much of the confusion.

Faithfully,
