I think Coun. John Illes and all the councillors at the Village of Burns Lake should be more proactive in finding out what is happing in the community.
Coun. Illes said he didn't know enough about the Root 16 application to make a decision.
I think as an elected official it is a councillors duty to know what is happening in the community so that decisions can be made at the council table.
I also think that the Village of Burns Lake councillors should be in support of local businesses like Root 16.
