Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation to the group of residents from Granisle who, along with Graham Cook, came to my rescue on the road from Granisle to Topley last Wednesday when I ended up in a snowbank by the roadside.
Without a thought for the time or the weather they stopped and spent over half an hour helping to dig me out without falling over the edge.
I have come to know that this the normal behaviour in and around this area and often goes unrecognized. As an adopted member of the community I wish to acknowledge the generosity of spirit which exists here and I am very grateful that I live here.
Sincerely,
Alan Hill
