On June 14 the bus from Prince Rupert to Prince George had not arrived at the scheduled time of 5:20 p.m. at Burns Lake. We waited till 6:20 p.m. As we were due to catch a connecting bus to Jasper leaving Prince George at 9:15 p.m. Ron and Nadine Harrison realized our plight and without hesitation, drove us to Prince George to make our connection, a return trip of almost 500 km. This act of goodwill (and already being the beneficiaries of their hospitality for some days) was greatly appreciated.
