I was pleased to hear that the mayor and counsel decided not to take a position on the Enbridge Pipeline.
I think that considering the wide variety of opinions on this project within our community, it is not proper for the mayor and council to try to represent our view.
If indeed they would like to take a stand, they would need to have an actual referendum on the matter.
