Japan is known as ‘The Land of the Rising Sun’
Recently we read your article in the Lakes District News dated April 13 and are very touched by your caring act to help Japan.
The old Japanese saying seven falls and eight rises states that you fall seven times, but you find yourself getting up for an eighth time.
It means that every fall you make you always get up no matter what.
Just like the Japanese people proved in the past, we strongly believe that they have such inner strength to come together and rise above again.
We want you to know that your kind thoughts meant a lot to us and are certain that the generous donation from the community will be very much appreciated by those who are affected by the heart-stricken events that happened in Japan.
