I am writing about the most wildest scam I have ever heard. At 10 a.m. on Sunday morning I received a call from a man with a foreign accent. He wanted a donation of $50 or more for the hungry children of British Columbia. I replied that there were no hungry children where we live. He asked where that was I told him it was Burns Lake. He asked where that was I said in central B.C. He asked where that was I said on the west coast of Canada. He then proceeded to ask where Canada was.
I cannot print my reply. I gave a cough and a grunt and hung up.
