I read Judy’s letter re: buying a car in Lakes District News dated Jan. 22, 2014. Well I bought a car locally and I bought it in April or May I didn’t drive it very much but started driving it a bit in September, the transmission was not right so I took back into Uptown Auto and told him about my problem and his just asked me to bring it in and he would look at it he did and he told me I needed a new transmission he said he would have it in the next day and he would put it.
I came back to pick it up - all he said it was good and he absorbed all the costs.
Now onto a more touchy subject and that’s the village not knowing what to do with their money from community forest. I at the forum last week and suggested the money should all go towards an operating room and nothing else so I want all who are interested in having a fully equipped operating room let the village and Northern Health know their wishes.
If we don’t get at it we will never have a full slate of doctors in Burns Lake because they have no place to work come on Burns Lake residents.
What are you all waiting for... to let Northern Health make all the decisions for us? They don’t care about Burns Lake.
