I to would like to commend the Village of Burns Lake for the look we have as we pass through main street. It is refreshing to see so much growing rather than just concrete and asphalt. Great job done by the village crew and especially Justina Peters who all worked so hard to accomplish this.
I also want to express my appreciation for the new approach and exit to Home Hardware off Center Street. Now we have two lanes to enter or exit. The exit lane is moved up further so now the turn onto Center Street is possible without blocking the street because your vehicle is sideways on the street. AS well because Center Street is moved further west it is easier to see if it is clear to proceed onto Main Street. Good Job Burns Lake.
By the way I have not seen any big rigs having any more trouble driving through town now than before. As I told one truck driver years ago who talked about our crooked main street- 'our town is unique'.
