The writing is on the wall

Wake up people.

If the citizens of this town can’t read the writing on the wall they must have their eyes closed.

In my opinion there isn’t a snowballs chance in hell that Hampton is rebuilding their mill. After listening to Hampton’s CEO at the town hall meeting on Monday, it appeared to me that he was going through the motions at best.

I think the meeting that was called for employees only in the afternoon was designed as damage control for the 7 p.m. meeting with all the media present.

It appeared to have worked if this was the case, as a lot of the pissed off employees weren’t at the later meeting.

Except for very few  people, the First Nations who attended were the ones who asked the toughest questions.

It was sad to see a room full of sheep, sitting on their hands with the future of our community at stake.
