Laura has worked for Black Press for 22 years – her career started as a sales rep at the Smithers Interior News and after five years of sales she moved to Burns Lake to fill the publisher’s position. Just recently she has also become the publisher for the Houston Today newspaper.
Originally from Brazil, Flavio has lived in different parts of the world and of Canada. He studied journalism in Newfoundland in 2012 and later worked as an editor in Saskatchewan before moving to Burns Lake in 2014. Flavio is passionate about finding the great stories in his community and holding governments accountable.
