The Burns Lake Mountain Bike Association has settled on a date for the rescheduling of the Big Pig Mountain Bike Festival.
The mountain bike festival, which features the Dante’s Inferno cross country race, has been rescheduled for the weekend from Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28.
Originally the Big Pig festival was set to take place from Aug. 15-17. However, due to the wildfires in the area, specifically the China Nose Mountain fire, which caused the evacuation of many homes in the area, the mountain bike association postponed the event.
