Children in Decker Lake learned the importance of bike safety while having a great time.
The bike safety afternoon, held at Decker Lake Elementary School on June 10, started after a donation of $2500 from the Burns Lake Community Forest.
Two bikes and 21 helmets were raffled off during the event. The bike safety afternoon also included three different areas of obstacle course, bike stunt demonstrations, helmet decoration and a bike safety video.
