The Burns Lake Bruins battled for the first place with the Fort St. James Stars during the pee wee tournament held in Burns Lake last weekend. However, the Stars took the first place after winning 4-3 against Burns Lake. The tournament was held at the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena and also included the Hazelton Bulldogs, who placed third, and the Fraser Lake Hawks, who came in forth. Sarah Greens with the Burns Lake Minor Hockey Association said it was a "fantastic weekend of hockey."
