National Reining Horse Association member local, Kristi Rensby won reserve champion honors at the Western Canadian Regional Affiliate Finals.
Rensby rode her eight year old American quarter horse mare, Jacs Katie Rose, to claim the Novice Horse Non Pro Level One Reserve Championship.
Rensby becomes one of only eight reiners competition to qualify to advance to the Adequan North American Affiliate Championships held in Oklahoma City, from Nov. 24 to Dec. 3, 2011.
