Burns Lake teams place well in Whistler 

Lakes District Secondary School students shined at the provincial skiing and snowboarding championship held in Whistler

Lakes District Secondary School placed third overall in both boys and girls snowboarding and came second in the combined snowboarding category at the provincial skiing and snowboarding championship in Whistler, which took place from Feb. 25 to March 4. Nisa Hofer came in third place in the all-terrain event and finished seventh overall. Sam Goertzen came in fourth place in the all-terrain competition.
