Eight teams, including five local teams participated in the Dennis Alec Memorial Fast Ball Tournament held recently.
Local teams were 'Wyonne Nation', 'She Lied, It's Not Mine' - a youth team from Lake Babine Nation, 'Grandpa's Boys' - Dennis Alec's grandsons, the 'Dennis Alec Memorial Team', grandchildren of Alec, and the 'Outdoor Bunch, lead by Nolan Michell.
Teams from Fort St. James, Stony Creek and Moricetown also played in the weekend long competition.
The winner of the competition was Wyonne Nation, second place went to Fort St. James and third was the Stoney Creek team.
