The inaugural fire engine pull at the 2013 Lakes District Fall Fair and Music Festival brought out five times to see which team could cross the finish line the quickest.
The Decker Lake Sawmill team took the competition with the fastest time, followed by the Burns Lake Fire and Rescue Department and the Lakes Fitness Centre team, which won the most funds raised category.
The Burns Lake Rotary team showed that teamwork, and not only brawn, could be counted on to move the fire engine across the finish line.
