The Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) senior boys basketball team recently travelled to provincials in Langley.
Coach Tracey Brown said this was an exciting time for LDSS because the last boys team to travel to provincials was in 1982.
The Lakers lost games against the West Point Grey Academy, Unity Christian and St. Andrews. However, they won against Mulgrave in their last match.
Brown said the team had a great time during provincials.
