Approximately 200 young players took part in Burns Lake’s novice tournament last weekend. There were 12 teams in total, with players coming from Fraser Lake, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Houston and Smithers. Sarah Green with the Burns Lake Minor Hockey Association said everybody seems to have had a great time. The ice was divided in half, allowing two games to take place at the same time. No scores were kept during the tournament.
