Winning streak for Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) boys

Secondary School (LDSS) senior boys soccer team chalked up yet another win recently.

The team defeated the Fort St. James Secondary School boys soccer team 3 goals to 1 during a home game match.

The match was played at the Lakes District Secondary School field.

So far, the LDSS boys soccer team has a six win and one loss record and have chalked up wins against teams from Prince George, Quesnel, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake.

In another game played last week,  and sporting new black team uniforms with red stripes,  the LDSS senior boys soccer team defeated the Nechako Valley Secondary School boys soccer team in an exciting game.

The LDSS team was helped to the win with goals by Collin Bergen, Benny D’Silva, Brett Fairley, Matt Skinner, Nick Brochez and Andre Dube.

LDSS goalie Dino Wiebe played a great game, stopping all shots at goal by the Nechako Valley Secondary School team, earning the visiting school a zero score shut out.
